SPELLINGEach week for homework, your child will need to write a one paragraph story correctly using at least 5 of the weekly spelling words. They are to post their writing on NetPB.com Online Journal. Also, they must complete the WORD SEARCH WORKSHEET using all their spelling words. Your child will have time to work in class. Every Friday, we have a spelling test in the morning.

MATHEveryday, your child needs to review the Multiplication Fact Family that they are currently studying. For example, if your child is learning the 3x family, have them review all the 3x facts before dinner or another convenient time. READINGYour child needs to read English text, and is accountable for, at least 15 minutes every night and 15 minutes sometime during the weekend. Parents need to sign on a daily basis the Home Reading Log, which needs to be turned in on Friday. Also, every week there will be an Oral Reading assignment, which is due on Friday.
